The aroma of the chicken and ginseng comes out very strongly once you open the package. The white meat was juicy and tender and most of the dark meat melted into the broth. There were several small bones, so be careful!
The broth itself was smooth, creamy, and thick, due to the cooked-down gelatinous rice. The ginseng accommodated the chicken very well, and was light, yet flavorful. No additional seasoning is needed, it is all seasoned and ready to eat once heating through. The stew itself was quick and easy to prepare since everything was already cooked, I heated the stew for about 10 minutes on the stovetop on high heat. It is also microwaveable- just remove the stew from the package onto a microwave-safe dish, and heat it for 6 minutes.

-1/2 portion of a small chicken
-1 ginseng that was about 1" long
* I added chopped carrots and cilantro
